CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's and women's alpine and nordic skiing teams have announced their 2015-16 schedules. The 76th season of Harvard skiing will feature five regular season carnivals in preparation for the NCAA championships.
Jan.15-16 marks the opening weekend of the season as the alpine and nordic teams will head to Maine to compete in the Bates Carnival, hosted by Bates College.
Harvard will return to Maine the following weekend to compete in the Colby Carnival. The alpine teams will compete Jan. 22-23, while the nordic teams will compete Jan. 23-24.
The Crimson will compete every weekend during the month of February, beginning Feb. 5-6 as the alpine teams will compete in the UVM Carnival. The nordic teams will late join the alpine squad and compete from Feb. 6-7.
The Crimson will then head to New Hampshire for the Dartmouth Carnival the following weekend. The alpine teams will start competition on Feb. 12 and both teams will compete the following day.
Harvard will finish its regular season slate at the Williams Carnival held from Feb. 19-20.
The NCAA Regional Championship will be held from Feb. 27-28 in Middlebury, Vermont, with the NCAA Championships being held March 9- 12 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
