Lange Named ECAC Rookie of the Year, Joins Macadam on All-Star Team
Kasey Lange earned ECAC and Ivy League Rookie of the Year

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After leading the Harvard
softball team to a record-breaking season, Ivy League championship
and NCAA tournament berth, Kasey Lange and Ellen Macadam were named
to the ECAC Division I All-Star team, the organization announced.
Lange was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on
the second team at third base, while Macadam was the second baseman
on the second team.
Lange led the Ivy League in RBI (65), doubles (20), sacrifice flies (6) and total bases (123) and was the unanimous decision for league Rookie of the Year. Her .444 batting average at the end of the regular season ranked 12th nationally and she was also second in doubles per game (0.4) and sacrifice flies, and seventh in RBI per game (1.30).
Macadam, who also received first-team all-region accolades and was named Ivy League Player of the Year this season, was among the league leaders in every offensive category. She led the Ancient Eight in hits (76) and runs scored (52). She also holds the school record for hits in a season (76) and a career (222), and runs in a season (52) and a career (139). She earned Academic All-America honors following her senior season with the Crimson.
