  • Sailing to Race in Three Regattas

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- With two weekends of racing remaining in the regular season, the Harvard sailing team will compete in three regattas this Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22. While hosting the Boston Dinghy Club Challenge Cup with MIT, the Crimson will also travel to Coast Guard for the NEISA Women’s Championship/Reed Trophy and to King’s Point for the Admirals’ Cup.

  • Sailing Wins Thompson Trophy, Clinches Four Top-Five Finishes

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Racing in four regattas across New England this weekend, the Harvard sailing team claimed its third first-place finish of the season, taking home the Thompson Trophy at Connecticut College. The Crimson also earned a second-place mark at the Owen/Mosbacher/Knapp Trophies, while claiming fifth at both the President’s Trophy and Oberg Trophy.
  • Sailing Heads to Three Regattas This Weekend

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard sailing team will move away from team races this weekend, April 14-15, sailing in three fleet regattas around New England. The Crimson will stay local on the Charles for the Oberg Trophy at Northeastern, while traveling to Kings Point for the Owen/Mosbacher/Knapp Trophies and Connecticut College for the Thompson Trophy.
  • Sailing Claims Fifth at New England Team Race Championship

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard sailing team posted its highest placement of the weekend with a fifth-place finish at the New England Team Race Championship, April 7-8. The Crimson also captured a ninth-place finish at the Wick Trophy and a 10th place mark at the Mystic Lake Team Race.
  • Sailing Travels to Southern Connecticut for Two Races

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard sailing team is back in action for two regattas this weekend, April 7-8, in Connecticut. The Crimson will take on the Emily Wick Trophy at Yale and the New England Team Race Championship at Connecticut College.
  • Ivy League Enhances Exposure, Fan Experience with Long-Term ESPN Agreement

    The Ivy League and ESPN have agreed to a long-term relationship to showcase Ivy League events through a variety of ESPN platforms, including at least 24 events annually on ESPN’s linear networks and more than 1,100 annually on ESPN+. This will include coverage for all 42 Harvard varsity programs.
  • Sailing Posts Top-Five Finish at Marchiando Team Race

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a trio of local races this weekend, the Harvard sailing team recorded three top-10 placements. The Crimson’s highest finish came at the Marchiando Team Race where Harvard claimed fourth place. The women’s team registered a ninth-place finish at the Dellenbaugh Women’s Trophy, while the co-ed squad notched a seventh-place mark at the BU Trophy.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard sailing team will vie for three trophies this weekend, March 31-April 1 in a trio of local races. The Crimson is set to compete in the Marchiando Trophy Team Race, the Dellenbaugh Women’s Trophy and the BU Trophy.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In its third weekend of spring competition, the Harvard sailing team captured three top-10 finishes, March 24-25. The Crimson earned its highest placement at the BC Team Race, sailing to a second-place finish, while also earning third and seventh-place finishes at the BU Team Race and Aaron Szambecki Team Race, respectively.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a trio of races, the Crimson will take on the Szambecki Trophy Team Race hosted by Old Dominion, the BU Team Race hosted by BU and the Central Series 2 hosted by Mass Maritime this weekend March 24-25.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard sailing team posted a first-place finish in the Southern New England Team Race this weekend, March 17-18. The Crimson also made appearances in the Ike Geiger Team Race Trophy and the Vietor Trophy, earning third and eighth-place finishes, respectively.
  • Three Regattas in Store for Sailing This Weekend

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard sailing team is back in action for three regattas this weekend, March 17-18. The Crimson will travel to Connecticut College for the Southern NE Team Race, MIT for the Geiger Trophy Team Race and Coast Guard for the Vietor Trophy. After two weekends of racing this spring, the Crimson registered three top-five placements, including a first-place victory at the Wood Trophy Team Race last weekend.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In its second weekend of competition this spring, the Harvard sailing team split up to compete in three regattas, and captured three top-10 placements. The Crimson registered a first-place finish at the Wood Trophy and sixth and seven-place marks at the Icebreaker Fleet Race and Navy Spring Women’s, respectively.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard sailing team returns this weekend, March 10-11, for three regattas. The Crimson will host the Wood Trophy Team Race, while the coed team will travel to St. Mary’s for the SMC Team Race and the women will take on the Navy Women’s at USNA.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In its opening weekend of competition to begin the spring season, the Harvard sailing team posted third-and fourth-place finishes. The Crimson traveled to Brown for the Sharpe Trophy Team Race, earning third place, while the women hosted the Harvard Women's Team Race, finishing in fourth.
  • Sailing Begins 2018 Slate with Three Regattas

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard sailing team will open its 2018 campaign with three regattas this weekend, March 3-4. The Crimson will host the Harvard Women's Team Race, while also traveling to Brown for the Sharpe Trophy Team Race and the College of Charleston for the Bavier Trophy.
  • Gosioco, Sertl Named to NEISA Short Lists

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Junior Christine Gosioco and senior Nick Sertl have been named to the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association's (NEISA) short lists, as announced by the conference Thursday evening. Gosioco has been added to the Babinau Crew of the Year list, while Sertl finds himself on the Coed Sailor of the Year list.
  • Sertl, Farrell Earn Silver at Lightning World Championship

    SALINAS, Ecuador – This past weekend, senior sailors Nick Sertl and Dylan Farrell placed second in the Lightning World Championship after a five-day event. The regatta, which took place Nov. 22-25, featured 56 boats of competitors from around the world.
