CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Harvard Crimson sailing team has collected eight spots on the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association's 2016-17 All-Academic Sailing Team, as announced by the association on Thursday.

Seniors Julia Lord and captain Nomin-Erdene Jagdagdori received the second mark of their career, topping the list in the 2015-16 season as well. Lord was also named to the 2017 Spring Academic All-Ivy League team and inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

The Crimson also boasted six first-time honorees including juniors Kirstin Anderson, Kevin Coakley, Dylan Farrell, Taylor Ladd, Nick Sertl, and senior Emma Wheeler.

Sertl, who served as captain throughout the season, was also honored earlier this year securing a place on the 2017 All-NEISA second team.

The ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team includes all junior and senior student-athletes who have participated as a competitor or alternate in seven regattas and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
