No. 15 Sailing Coeds Close Out Fall Season at Atlantic Coast Tournament

NEW LONDON, Conn. - The No. 15 Harvard sailing coed team closed out its fall season with a 14th-place performance at the Atlantic Coast Tournament hosted by Connecticut College Nov. 16-17.  

The fleet of 18 teams battled in FJs across two divisions in four races on Thames River. Harvard's two boats combined for 88 points overall to take 14th in its 28th regatta of the autumn season. Rhode Island won the regatta with 33 points.  

The sophomore partnership of skipper Andrew Mollerus and crew Sydney Karnovsky manned the Crimson's A division boat. The duo claimed 13th with 43 points that included a third place finish in the second race of the regatta.  

In the B division, senior Luke O'Connor and freshman Julia Lord, skipper and crew, respectively, sailed to 13th with 45 points. The pair's weekend performance was highlighted by taking seventh in the second race.  

The Crimson coeds return to action this spring.
