The Harvard sailing team wrapped up its fall season by placing eighth at the Atlantic Coast Championship on the Charles River and 14th at the Women’s Atlantic Coast Championship at Brown.

The Harvard sailing team won the Michael Horn Trophy Team Race Saturday and Sunday on the Charles River, posting a 12-3 round-robin record and topping Vermont in the final.

Harvard Coeds, Women ACC-Bound After Placing Fourth
The Harvard coed and women’s sailing teams both posted fourth-place finishes over the weekend, qualifying for the Atlantic Coast Championships in two weeks. The Crimson also placed ninth at the Nickerson Trophy, New England’s freshman championship.

A week after placing second in their division, senior Liz Powers and sophomore Marie Appel did one better at the Women’s Stu Nelson Trophy over the weekend, winning the B division and leading the Harvard sailing team to a second-place team finish.
