CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard rookie Ben Zepfel has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season, the CWPA announced Wednesday.
Zepfel netted nine goals, seven steals and one assist over three games at the CWPA Eastern Championships Nov. 16-18 to help the Crimson to a seventh-place finish. He was also named to the all-tournament second team at the three-day event.

He followed up his performance with his best game of the tournament, contributing five goals, one assist and three steals against CWPA Northern Division rival Brown. He concluded the weekend with a single tally and three steals in a win over MIT and give the Crimson a 15-19 overall record on the year.
The Newport Beach, Calif. native previously won the award Sept. 17, Oct. 15 and Nov. 5, and the Crimson won nine of the 11 awards given out this season. Noah Harrison (Sept. 3, Oct. 8), Blake Lee (Sept. 24, Oct. 22) and Robbie Fluegge (Oct. 29) also won the award this year.
