NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Crimson set its highest single-season win total in three years Sunday as it wrapped up a successful three-game Collegiate Water Polo Association road trip with a 20-10 victory over Connecticut College.

Harvard (8-13, 2-4 CWPA) outscored the Camels (2-9, 0-7 CWPA) 5-1 in the first period after a slow start and took a 10-5 lead at halftime on its way to scoring 20 goals against Connecticut College for the fourth time in six games dating back to 2008. The eight wins in 2010 is the most wins for the team since it won 14 games in 2007.

Junior Kevin DiSilvestro scored a season-high six goals while adding an assist and two takeaways to lead the Crimson. Senior Alex Thompson had three scores, four steals and a helper, and senior Jeff Lee added three goals, seven assists and had two takeaways.

The Crimson will take on its crosstown rival MIT at 8 p.m. Friday for the third time in 2010, this time in its final CWPA game of the season, on the MIT campus in Cambridge.
