Men's Water Polo Drops Northern Division Contest Against Brown

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- A trio of Harvard men's
water polo players netted two goals apiece, but the Crimson fell to
Brown in a CWPA Northern Division matchup, 15-8, Saturday afternoon
at Blodgett Pool. Egen Atkinson, Max Eliot and Luka Babic all
scored twice, while Bret Voith and Kevin DiSilvestro chipped in
with a tally each.
Harvard and Brown played a close first quarter, as the Crimson
trailed by onle on score, 3-2, but the Bears went on a 6-0 run in
the second to pull ahead, 9-2, before the half. Nikhil
Balaraman turned aside 11 shots in net for Harvard. Alex
Thompson drew four kickouts, while Eliot had three kickouts.
With the loss, Harvard falls to 3-1 in Northern Division contests
and 5-13 overall.
The Crimson continues its home stretch, as the team welcomes Iona
to Blodgett Pool Sunday at 2 p.m.
