CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman Max Eliot of the Harvard men’s water polo team has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, the CWPA announced Tuesday.

Eliot, who was also honored by the conference Sept. 15, led Harvard with a career-high five goals in the Crimson’s 12-7 win over Queens (N.Y.) Saturday. A native of Studio City, Calif., Eliot also made three steals and drew four kickouts in the victory, as Harvard improved to 2-0 in the Northern Division standings. Overall, the Crimson owns a 4-8 record on the season.

Eliot and the Crimson will travel to the Claremont Convergence this week to face four opponents. Harvard will play Chapman and Ponoma-Pitzer Friday, before taking on No. 12 Concordia and Cal Baptist Saturday.
