Crimson Improves to 2-0 in Conference Play with 12-7 Win Over Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. -- The Harvard men's water polo team
won its second consecutive CWPA Northern Division game of the
season, as the Crimson topped Queens (N.Y.), 12-7, Saturday
afternoon. With the victory, the Crimson improves to 2-0 in
conference play and 4-8 overall.
Max Eliot led the Harvard charge with a career-high five goals,
while he also made three steals and drew four ejections. Bret
Voith handed out five assists and scored once, and Egen Atkinson
tallied two goals. Also scoring for the Crimson were Mike
Katzer, Thomas Bailey, Alex Thompson and Evan Zepfel who had one
apiece.
Alexandre Popp stopped 15 shots in net to earn the win. The
Crimson will now head to California, as the team will take on
Chapman and Ponoma-Pitzer at the Claremont Convergence Friday, Oct.
