Ahmed Ibrahim joins the Harvard men’s volleyball coaching
staff after coaching the intramural and club volleyball teams at
Princeton University. He also served as a program specialist at the
Central New Jersey Volleyball Academy
Ibrahim has 13 years of professional volleyball experience with
the National Volleyball League of Egypt. From 2001-06, he played
for the Sharkia Egyptian National League Team in Cairo, where the
team qualified for Divison A every year. Prior to that, Ibrahim
played for the Semoha National League team in Alexandria for four
years.
Ibrahim graduated with honors from Suez Canal University in Egypt
in 2001 with a degree in physical education and a specialization in
volleyball coaching. Upon graduation, he was recognized by the
President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Mubarak, for
being one of the top 10 students in his field and was awarded a
position consulting on health and fitness for the Egyptian Ministry
of Youth.
