Harvard Men’s Volleyball Announces 2012 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's volleyball team announced its 2012 schedule Thursday as the Crimson will compete in 23 matches this season, hosting 10 of them at home in the Malkin Athletic Center.
Harvard will open its slate with two road matches starting Jan. 24 at Endicott, and Rivier on Jan. 27. The Crimson will host conference foe Springfield in the team's home opener a day later. After a match at MIT on Feb. 4, Harvard will host a seven-match home stand beginning Feb. 8 against Cal Baptist. During that stretch Harvard will face Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association opponents Princeton (Feb. 11) Penn State (Feb. 17) and will wrap up with Hay division rival Sacred Heart on Feb. 25.
Harvard will wrap up its home schedule March 30-31 welcoming conference rivals Rutgers-Newark and NJIT. The Crimson will finish up the 2012 campaign on the road against Rutgers-Newark on April 14. The EIVA tournament will begin on April 26-28 and will be hosted by the no. 1 seed.
