CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's tennis team is set for the Harvard Fall Chowda Fest scheduled for Sept. 23-25. The three-day event will feature three-time defending national champion USC, Texas A&M and Michigan, along with the host Crimson.
The individual tournament will begin on Friday at the Beren Tennis Cnter (weather permitting) beginning at 10 a.m. The highlight of the weekend is the doubles shoot-out scheduled for Saturday from 3-6 p.m., as the top-parings from the competing squads will all vie for the tournament crown.
Last season rising junior Alistair Felton was named the Harvard weekend MVP, winning all three of his singles matches and taking two of three in doubles action. Senior Jonathan Pearlman also turned in an impressive performance competing in the No. 1 singles slot, and defeated Minnesota's No. 1, Sebastian Gallego.
