Men's Tennis Wins ITA All-Academic Honor; Five Named Scholar-Athletes

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men’s tennis team has been named recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association with the ITA All-Academic Team Award.  In addition, five men’s tennis players are tabbed ITA Scholar-Athletes by the national organization.

Senior co-captain Alexei Chijoff-Evans, juniors Alastair Felton and Mac McAnulty and sophomores Tunc Kiymaz and Will McNamee earned grade-point averages of 3.5 or above.

A team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or greater to receive the all-academic team award. 

The Crimson will begin its 2010 fall season by hosting the Campus Showdown Sept. 19.
