Men's Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team: Eight Named Scholar-Athletes
The Harvard men’s tennis team was one of 47 schools to be
recognized by the ITA for its success in the classroom. Harvard was
named an ITA All-Academic Team and had eight players selected as
ITA Scholar Athletes which is tied for the second most in the
nation.
Michael Kalfayan ’09, Michael Libert ’09, rising senior
Michael Hayes, Robert Parker and Tim Wu, rising juniors Alexei
Chijoff-Evans and William Guzick and rising sophomore Robert
McAnulty all had a grade point average of 3.50.
To be eligible for the all-academic team award, a school must
maintain a 3.20 grade point average or above.
Harvard, who finished tied for second in the Ancient Eight standings last season, begins its fall campaign Sept. 12 with the Harvard One-Day Tournament.
