EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – Junior men's swimmer Logan Houck posted top-three finishes in each of the three events he competed in over the weekend, completing a successful showing at the U.S. Open Championships at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, New York.
Houck, an All-Ivy League honoree last season in the 500 free, was first in action Wednesday, Aug. 2 when he claimed runner-up in the 1,500 free. The next day he swam his way to a third-place showing in the 400 free.
He swam for the final time Sunday, Aug. 6, collecting another second-place finish, this time in the 800 free, registering a time of 7:56.05.
Houck and the Crimson begin the 2017-18 season in November and will be seeking to repeat as Ivy League champions.
