Men's Swimming and Diving's Mosca Named ECAC Scholar Athlete of the Year

Mosca continues his decorated career at Harvard. 

DANBURY, Conn. – Rising senior Mike Mosca of the Harvard men's swimming and diving team has been named an ECAC Scholar Athlete of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday. Mosca, who also is a Capital One Academic All-American, is one of six student-athletes in the ECAC to earn the distinction.

Enjoying success on the boards and in the classroom, Mosca is a two-time Academic All-Ivy League recipient and the winner of the Harvard College Research Program Fellowship Award. Away from the classroom, Mosca volunteered for the Harvard Emerging Literacy Project (HELP) and also as a youth dive coach in Boston.

A Tenafly, New Jersey, native, Mosca is a five-time Ivy League Champion and a five-time member of the All-Ivy First Team. During Harvard's Ivy League Championship run, Mosca earned the Karl B. Michael High Point Diver of the Meet for the second year in a row. Following that performance, he became an NCAA All-American honorable mention honoree, as well as a NCAA Zone Champion in the 1-meter springboard.
