Men's Swimming and Diving Announces 2010-11 Schedule
Harvard will host two home meets and the Ivy League
Championships in 2010-11 (David Silverman).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men’s swimming
and diving team has announced its 2010-11 schedule. The Crimson is
slated to host two regular-season home meets as well as the 2011
Ivy League Championships in March.
After hosting a diving scrimmage the first weekend of November, Harvard opens its regular-season and conference schedule with a tri-meet against Dartmouth and Cornell in Hanover, N.H., Nov. 13. Harvard’s home schedule kicks off the following Friday with a dual meet against Columbia, and the Crimson wraps up the calendar year with road meets against Boston University and Connecticut Dec. 3 and 4, respectively.
After a training trip to Puerto Rico over January break, Harvard travels to Brown to face the Bears Jan. 22, and hosts Penn the following day. The 2010-11 HYP meet will be hosted by Yale as the Crimson will square off against the Bulldogs and Tigers Jan. 28-29. Harvard will host the Ivy League Championships at Blodgett Pool March 3-5, for the first time since 2008, looking to claim its 23rd Ivy League title and first since 2008.
