Crimson Divers Compete at Zone A Diving Championships

PISCATAWAY, N.J. –
The Harvard men’s and women’s diving teams had select athletes compete at the NCAA Zone A Championships, hosted this weekend by Rutgers University.

Freshman Michael Stanton of the men’s team competed in both the one and three-meter events. After qualifying for the three-meter finals in 12th position, Stanton finished 11th in the competition with a total of 582.95 points. The freshman also finished in 11th position in the one-meter event, compiling 572.65 points.

On the women’s side, Jennifer Reese and Leslie Rea both qualified for the one-meter finals and finished 11th and 16th, respectively, in the event. Brittany Powell placed 33rd in the one-meter competition. The trio missed out on the three-meter finals, as Rea placed 20th, Powell placed 23rd and Reese took 31st in the preliminary round.
