No. 2 Men's Squash Captures Ivy Crown with 9-0 Win Over Brown

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 2 men's squash team downed No. 19 Brown, 9-0, to claim its second consecutive Ivy League title and the 36th title in program history. Following the victory, Harvard ends the regular season with a 14-0 record, the 25th undefeated season in program history. The Crimson has swept eight of its 14 opponents this year.

The top half of the ladder paced the effort as the Crimson swept spots one through four. Ali Farag downed Blake Reinson, 11-8, 11-5, 12-10 in the No. 1 spot. Brandon McLaughlin edged Jack Blasberg 11-2, 11-5, 11-1 in the second position, while Gary Power defeated Oliver Booth 11-7, 11-6, 11-7 in the third position and Nigel Koh bested Foster Hoff 11-1, 11-3, 11-5.

Nick Hopcroft, Tom Mullaney, Matt Roberts and Sam Goldberg helped clinch the win as each swept their opponents in the bottom half of the ladder. 

Harvard will return to action as the Crimson host the CSA Men's Championship to crown the national champion at the Murr Center Squash Courts Feb. 14-16.
