No. 2 Men’s Squash Cruises Past No. 18 Williams, 9-0

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The No. 2 Harvard men's squash team picked up its fifth shutout in as many attempts Tuesday night as the Crimson swept No. 18 Williams, 9-0.

In the victory, Harvard took eight of the nine matches by 3-0 margins and the other 3-1 to improve to 67-1 in the all-time series against the Ephs. The Crimson is now 5-0 in 2013-14, while Williams falls to 4-8.

Senior co-captain Brandon McLaughlin bested Christopher Wilkinson in the top spot to improve to 3-0 on the season. Gary Power also remains undefeated on the year, knocking off Jamie Ruggiero, 3-0 at the No. 2 position.

Dylan Murray, Nigel Koh, Bryan Koh, Nicholas Hopcroft, Tyler Olson, Tom Mullaney each picked up a win to improve to 4-0, while Matt Roberts picked up his third win of the year.

Harvard returns to the courts Jan. 11-12 as the Crimson hosts a pair of Ivy League matches against Princeton and Penn.
