Three Players Reach 10 Wins As No. 3 Men's Squash Defeats Brown, 9-0

Sam Goldberg earned his 10th win of the year at Brown (Gil Talbot). 

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the second straight match and fourth time this season, the No. 3 Harvard men's squash team swept all nine matches 3-0 to shutout Brown, 9-0, Thursday night at the Kate Brodsky Memorial Squash Pavilion inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.

Three Crimson reached double figures in wins on the season, as Harvard made quick work of the Bears to improve to 14-1 on the year and 5-1 in Ivy League play.

No. 2 Brandon McLaughlin surrendered the few points on the evening, allowing seven in an 11-3, 11-1, 11-3 win over Oliver Booth, to become the first player to reach the 10-win plateau.

Freshman Sam Goldberg and junior Tommy Mullaney also hit the milestone  against Brown. No. 8 Goldberg trimmed Charles Lebovitz, 11-3, 11-5, 11-8, while Mullaney handled Jack Blasberg, 11-3, 11-4, 11-4 at No. 4.

No. 1 Ali Farag and No. 6 Jason Michas both stayed undefeated and improved to 9-0 with their respective wins. Farag outlasted Blake Reinson, 11-9, 11-8, 13-11, and Michas prevailed over Michael Snower, 11-3, 13-11, 11-3.

Harvard returns to play Sunday at 2 p.m. at home against Yale in its Ivy League finale.
