CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's squash team set a new program record with its seventh consecutive shutout victory Sunday. The Crimson blanked Northeastern and Boston University by 9-0 tallies to surpass the previous mark of six, set by the 2004-05 Crimson.

The Crimson started the day at MIT against Northeastern. Harvard easily got past the Huskies and won 27-of-28 games in the match. The Crimson then traveled back to Murr Center where they dominated Boston University.

Nigel Koh made his debut in the No. 1 position and won 3-0 decisions over John Ghublikian (Northeastern) and Chaiyatat Bunjapamai (BU). Koh is one of 17 players on the Harvard roster that remains undefeated.

Four Harvard players made their season debuts. Sam Sokolsky-Tifft, Peter Machtiger, James Brooks and Nikhil Mehra won matches in the No. 6-9 positions in each match. Machtiger looked particularly impressive in his win over Map Teeravithayapinyo (BU), 11-3, 11-3, 11-0, surrendering just six points in the match. Mehra took two wins against Boston University as the freshman won in the No. 9 and No. 10 slot.

Harvard will take over a month off from regular-season play before taking on Penn Jan. 14 at the Murr Center.
