West, Hill Garner CSA All-America Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Senior Colin West and junior
Richard Hill of the Harvard men's squash team have been honored on
the College Squash Association All-America teams, the CSA recently
announced. West earned his third straight nod to the All-America
first team, while Hill garnered a spot on the second team.
West, a native of Toronto, Ont., won the CSA individual national title, as he posted a 16-1 overall record during his senior season. The winner of the Pool Cup, West was also the recipient of the Skillman Award, which is given annually to a senior men’s squash player who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship during his entire college career.
West owned a 5-0 record at the CSA Individual Championships and
was 11-1 at the No. 1 position during the dual season. He
posted a perfect 6-0 record in Ivy League matches and owned a 3-0
mark at the CSA Team Championships, earning wins against Princeton,
Western Ontario and Cornell.
Hill, who hails from Singapore, finished the year 9-6 overall and
picked up a victory in first round of CSA Individual
Championships. Hill sported an 8-4 record at the No. 2
position and grabbed wins against Western Ontario and Cornell at
CSA Team Championships.
West and Hill helped the Crimson finish fifth at the CSA Team
Championships, as Harvard went 7-5 overall. The Crimson also
owned a 4-2 record in Ivy League matches.
