Liverpool FC Visits Harvard During Training Tour in U.S.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- British football
club and English Premier League member Liverpool practiced at
Harvard this week prior to the team's friendly exhibition against
Roma at Fenway Park July 25.
Liverpool, nicknamed The Reds, trained at Harvard for seven
days, practicing at Ohiri Field and working out at the Palmer Dixon
Strength & Conditioning Center.
The team also held a soccer clinic at the Soldiers Field
Soccer Stadium for Boston area children. Liverpool's coaches and
staff faced the Harvard coaches in a friendly scrimmage at Ohiri
Field Thursday, with the squads tying, 2-2.
Liverpool faced Roma at historic Fenway Park in Boston in a game
televised across the world on ESPN. Roma emerged with a 2-1 victory
over The Reds, who will conclude their tour of the United States
against Tottenham in Baltimore, Md. Saturday, July 28.
