Harvard Men’s Soccer Ties Cape Verde All-Stars 1-1 in Exhibition Fundraiser, Cape Verde Takes PKs, 7-6
The Harvard men’s soccer team hosted the Cape Verde All-Star team in an exhibition match Friday night to benefit Coaches Across Continents and the Cape Verde Football Federation in front of 1,176 fans at Harvard Stadium. Cape Verde led most of the second half, 1-0, before Harvard’s Zack Wolfenzon tied the score in extra time. With the match officially ending in a tie, Cape Verde outscored the Crimson, 7-6, in nine frames of penalty kicks.
