No. 10 Men's Soccer Enters Second Week of Preseason Practice

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The 10th-ranked Harvard men's
soccer team continues its preparation for the upcoming season, as
the Crimson is eight days away from hosting No. 13 Stanford Sept.
4.
The Crimson will open the fall campaign by hosting the Cardinal
under the lights at the new Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium Saturday,
Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. Harvard, which has earned a spot in the
NCAA tournament for four straight seasons, enters 2010 ranked 10th
in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)
preseason poll.
Under Carl Junot, the Virginia B. and James O. Welch '52 Head
Coach for Harvard Men's Soccer, who is entering his first year at
the helm, the Crimson looks to defend its Ivy League title this
fall. Harvard, which returns 18 players from last year's
roster, added seven freshmen and will play six home contests this
season.
