Fucito Making His Mark in MLS With Seattle Sounders FC

Former Harvard All-America forward Michael Fucito '08-09 recently
made his Major League Soccer debut while playing for the Seattles
Sounders FC in a regular-season game against the Philadelphia Union
in Seattle, Wash., March 25.

Fucito, an All-America second-team selection as a senior with the
Crimson, led the Ivy League in total points and helped guide the
Crimson to the second round of the 2008 NCAA tournament. A
three-time All-Ivy League first-team honoree and the conference's
Rookie of the Year in 2004, Fucito finished his collegiate career
as Harvard's fourth all-time leading scorer with 88 points on 32
goals and 24 assists.
Following his senior season, Fucito was selected in the
fourth round with the 46th overall pick at the 2009 MLS SuperDraft
by Seattle.
