Akpan, O'Neill Compete With Chicago Fire PDL Team

CHICAGO -- Harvard men's soccer senior forward Andre Akpan and junior midfielder Dillon O'Neill have competed with the Chicago Fire Players Development teams this summer.

On June 9, Akpan, Harvard's all-time leading scorer with 97 points on 35 goals and 27 assist, helped the Chicago Fire PDL team to a 3-1 victory over the Milwaukee Bavarians by scoring a goal in the 28th minute in the contest held at the Toyota Park Training Field.

The Fire own a 5-1-3 record and face the Indiana Invaders F.C. Thursday, June 18.
