The Crimson will play live on NBC Sports Network and ESPNU (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Athletics has released its television and live streaming schedule for the upcoming men’s lacrosse season which features two nationally televised games and streaming coverage for each of the Crimson’s nine home contests.
Harvard will play twice in front of a national audience including Saturday, March 30 when it hosts No. 13/14 Duke live on NBC Sports Network. The game will take place under the lights of Harvard Stadium at 7 p.m. The Crimson will also be featured on ESPNU when it takes the field at No. 14/13 Princeton Friday, April 19 at 6 p.m.
"As the sport of lacrosse continues to grow, the number of televised games increases each year,” Chris Wojcik ’96, The Frisbie Family Head Coach for Harvard Men’s Lacrosse, commented. “This year we will play two nationally televised games and the coverage is good exposure for our program."
Harvard has also announced that for the first time ever, each of the Crimson’s nine home games will be available either through live or on-demand streaming. Each game not currently scheduled to be televised will be streamed live through GoCrimson.com while the matchup with Duke will be available for on-demand viewing shortly after its completion.
“Live streaming of our entire home schedule will provide our fans an opportunity to watch us play anywhere in the country," stated Wojcik. “It’s a great opportunity for our alumni and supporters to stay connected to the program.”
A full season pass can be purchased for $59.95 while single event subscriptions will be offered for $9.95. The full season pass will give fans access to each of the eight games streamed live as well as access to the on-demand archive for all nine home contests.
