CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior tri-captain Kevin Vaughan of the Harvard men’s lacrosse team has been named to the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America third team, the publication announced.
Vaughan, a native of Ridgewood, N.J., was tabbed to the All-Ivy League and NEILA All-New England first team last season after ranking third on the Crimson with 19 goals and 27 points. A midfielder, Vaughan tallied Harvard’s only man-down goal last spring (Bellarmine March 11) and scored a season-high three goals against Cornell (April 9).
The Harvard men’s lacrosse team, which opens the 2012 season at home against Vermont Feb. 25, has recently ranked 19th in the 2012 Inside Lacrosse preseason national poll.
