Eipp, Mahon, Jahelka Named to U.S. Men’s U19 Roster

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore attackman Daniel Eipp and incoming freshman midfielder Sean Mahon and newcomer defender Stephen Jahelka have been named to the U.S. Men's National Under 19-team roster.

The Crimson trio is among 23 players that will train to compete in the 2012 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) U19 Men's World Championships in Turku, Finland.

Eipp, a native of Groton, Mass., earned All-Ivy League honorable mention and New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) accolades during his rookie season with the Crimson. He played in all 16 games for Harvard and ranked fourth  on the team with 24 points on 16 goals and eight assists.

Mahon and Jahelka both hail from Garden City, N.Y., and will be joining the Crimson this fall.
The 2012 FIL U19 World Championship will take place in Turku, Finland, where Team USA will look to defend its title from 2008, when it won gold at the quadrennial event, beating Canada 19-12 in Coquitlam, B.C.
