Cohen Honored as NEILA Player of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Sophomore attackman Jeff
Cohen of the 16th-ranked Harvard men's lacrosse team has been
tabbed the Turfer NEILA Player of the Week, it was announced
Tuesday afternoon.
In Harvard's 11-8 win over Colgate March 16, Cohen, who stands
second on the Crimson with 19 points (16-3-19) this season, scored
two goals and handed out an assist. Cohen, a native of
Syosset, N.Y., then netted four goals in the Ivy League opener
against Brown Saturday, a 13-11 win for the Bears. With his
seven points last week, Cohen extended his point streak to 19
games, tied for the longest streak in the country.
Cohen is the second Harvard player to be honored this season by
the NEILA, as junior attackman Dean Gibbons took home Player of the
Week honors March 2.
Harvard will host Dartmouth in an Ivy League contest Saturday,
March 27. The game, which will be played at Harvard Stadium,
is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
