The inaugural Ivy League Match Play event at The Bay Club in Mattapoisett, Mass., was stopped short due to weather as Sundays rounds were cancelled. As a result, Yale and Penn shared the title while Harvard and Columbia tied for third.
Crimson Finishes Sixth at Philadelphia Big 5 Invitational

Harvard had two consistent rounds this past weekend as the Crimson placed sixth at the Philadelphia Big 5 Invitational, hosted at Philadelphia Cricket Club by Temple University. Harvard recorded rounds of 301 and 300 to finish just one shot behind Penn and Binghamton for fourth place.

NORTHFIELD, N.J. The Columbia men's golf team won its second straight consecutive Ivy title, coming from behind to edge Penn by a single stroke. Harvard placed sixth in the eight-team field, led by Greg Shumans eighth place overall finish (70-73-71-214).
April 21, 2009 Crimson Wins Caves Valley Intercollegiate
OWINGS MILLS, Md. The Harvard mens golf team won its second tournament of the season with a dominating performance at the Caves Valley Spring Intercollegiate. The Crimson topped a nine-team field with a two-round score of 595 (294-301) to win by 13 strokes over the second place squad from George Washington.

PRINCEON, N.J. This weekend the Crimson traveled to its third spring tournament which took place in the idyllic country setting of Princeton, New Jersey. During the practice round and getting to know Princetons home Springdale golf course, the Crimson realized the course had some familiar design characteristics.
