Cohen Leads No. 2 Harvard Men's Fencing to Three Wins at MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore Benjamin Cohen went undefeated in two duals and fell only once in another Sunday to lead the No. 2 Harvard men's fencing team to a perfect 3-0 day at the Eric Sollee Invitational hosted by MIT.
The Crimson earned wins over two ranked teams Sunday, No. 7 Penn and No. 9 Duke, by a score of 16-11 in each dual. Harvard also topped Hunter College, 22-5. Cohen went unbeaten against the best competition, going 3-0 against the Quakers and 3-0 fencing the Blue Devils.
Fellow sophomore Thomas Kolasa also went 8-1 Sunday fencing in the saber event, falling once in Harvard's dual with No. 7 Penn. Kolasa was a perfect 3-0 against No. 9 Duke and 3-0 against the Hawks of Hunter College.
The Crimson will head to the Ivy League Championships, Saturday and Sunday at Princeton, in hopes of earning an Ancient Eight title.
