CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Student-Athletes Joshua Kuppersmith '19, David Wexner '19, Eli Dershwitz '19 and Phillipe Guy '20 are traveling to Israel July 4-18 to represent Team USA in the 20th World Maccabiah Games. Kuppersmith and Wexner will be on the open rowing team for the American squad, while Dershwitz and Guy will be competing in the sabre category of fencing.

Wexner was consistently on the varsity eight bow for the Harvard men's lightweight crew and was named to the second-team All-Ivy.  Kuppersmith participated on the Harvard lightweight crew third and fourth varsity bows this past season.

Dershwitz represented Team USA at the Rio Olympic Games this past summer and rode that momentum to win the men's sabre NCAA Championship. He is a two time All-American and a two time All-Ivy League Selection. Guy finished his freshman campaign 15 on the season while earning two wins at the Ivy Championships.

Rising junior Valerie Yoshimura was also selected to the Maccabi USA Open Swimming Team, as announced in April
