Rowed for the freshman eight all season and once for the lightweight four ... Took fifth place in the lightweight four at the IRA National Championships, missing out on fourth by a half-second ... Helped the freshman eight finish third, just 1.3 seconds back of runner-up Princeton in 6:26.215, at the EARC Sprints ... Took second in a matchup of three previously unbeaten crews at the HYP regatta finishing the dual season 8-1 ... Contributed in win over Navy and Georgetown ... Defeated MIT and Dartmouth ... Also contributed in wins over Cornell, Penn, and Delaware.

Before Harvard
Participated on the varsity crew for three years as a stroke seat and six seat at Redwood High School … Awarded 2011 Marin Rowing Association Men’s Varsity Athlete of the Year … 2009 Southwest Regional Championships … First-place heavyweight varsity eight  at Southwest Regional Championships in 2010 and ‘11 … Set the course record for the junior eight event at the 2011 San Diego Crew Classic … First place heavyweight and lightweight varsity eight and lightweight four at the 2011 Youth National Championships … Graduated high school as Salutatorian.
