CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's basketball team will tip off the 2014-15 season by hosting the fourth annual Crimson Madness event, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. in Lavietes Pavilion.
Tickets to Crimson Madness are available now by clicking here. Admission is free but space is limited, so be sure to reserve your ticket today.
This year's event will once again feature a dunk contest, 3-point competition and the annual Crimson and Black scrimmage. Junior Agunwa Okolie won last year's inaugural dunk contest after throwing down a 360 windmill in the first round, and is expected to be in the lineup again this year looking to defend his crown. Brandyn Curry '13-14 sank his final money ball a year ago to take the 3-point competition, leaving this year's competition open to a new winner.
Participants in both the dunk contest and 3-point competition will be announced closer to the event, as well as rosters for the Crimson and Black teams. A special guest Emcee and judges for the dunk contest will also be announced in coming weeks.
Along with the action on the court, fans in attendance will be treated to free giveaways, student promotions and a postgame autograph session.
