Casey Earns Spot on Brooklyn Nets' Summer League Roster
Casey will suit up for the Nets in the Orland Summer League July 5-11 (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Recent Harvard graduate Kyle Casey '13-14 has signed an agreement with the NBA's Brooklyn Nets to play for the team in the upcoming Orlando Summer League.
Casey, a 6-7 forward, finished his career as one of only four members of the Crimson to record 1,000 points, 600 rebounds and 100 blocks. He ranks 13th on Harvard's career scoring list with 1,242 points, is 10th in rebounding with 654 and is third on the program's blocks list with 127. Casey averaged 10.5 ppg over 118 career games while also turning in 5.5 rpg and shooting 49.8 percent from the field.
Casey was a four-time All-Ivy League selection and was named the conference's rookie of the year in 2010. He also earned four Ivy League Player of the Week honors and recorded eight career double-doubles, including four in 2013-14.
A native of Medway, Mass., Casey was a member of three Ivy League championship teams and reached the NCAA tournament twice.
