CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's basketball team will host the third annual #CrimsonMadness Friday, Oct. 18, but this year's event will take a different form than that of years past. This year's event will feature a dunk contest and three-point competition, and will incorporate fans into both.
#CrimsonMadness will begin at 7 p.m. with an address from head coach Tommy Amaker and team introductions. The dunk contest will follow before the annual Crimson and Black scrimmage tips off. The three-point competition will take place during halftime of the scrimmage.
For the first time ever fans will have a chance to step onto the court with the Crimson, as judges of the dunk contest and contestants in a three-point competition. Post a picture of yourself wearing Harvard gear, or at a Harvard Athletics event, to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using #CrimsonMadness to become eligible to compete. The best photos will be used to select four judges for the dunk contest and four competitors to take on one another in a three-point competition.
The event will conclude with an autograph signing with the team.
