No. 14 seed Harvard takes on third-seeded New Mexico Thursday evening at 9:50 EST on TNT (Gil Talbot).
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- The Harvard men's basketball team held an open practice for fans and the media and participated in press conferences at Energy Solutions Arena Wednesday evening.
Harvard head coach Tommy Amaker and senior co-captain Christian Webster, junior co-captain Laurent Rivard and sophomore Wesley Saunders took part in press conference prior to the open practice.
The Crimson is preparing for Thursday evening's NCAA tournament second-round game against third-seeded New Mexico. Harvard, a No. 14 seed, will face the Commodores at 9:50 p.m. EST in a game that will be shown live nationally on TNT.
Harvard stands at 19-9 overall on the season and won the Ivy League with a 13-3 conference mark. The Crimson is making its second straight NCAA tournament appearance and the third in team history.
The Lobos are 29-5 and won the Mountain West regular season and conference tournament titles.
