Tommy Amaker Participates in Ivy League's Postseason Media Teleconference
Head coach Tommy Amaker and the Crimson are making their second straight trip to the NCAA tournament (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Harvard men's basketball head coach Tommy Amaker and co-captains Christian Webster and Laurent Rivard participated in the Ivy League men's basketball postseason media teleconference Monday afternoon.
The co-captains and Coach Amaker discussed the Crimson's matchup with third-seeded New Mexico, which is slated for March 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah., as part of the NCAA tournament's second round. Harvard is the No. 14 seed in the West Region.
Harvard, which heard its named called as part of the
NCAA tournament field for the second straight year, was awarded the
Ivy League's automatic bid by winning the Ancient Eight's
regular-season title with a 11-3 record. This will be Harvard's
third trip to the NCAA tournament in program history.
