Harvard Men’s Basketball Kicks Off Season with Crimson Madness

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's basketball team hosted Crimson Madness before a large crowd at Lavietes Pavilion, with Team Black defeating Team Crimson by a score of 50-36 Saturday afternoon.
Patrick Steeves led all players with 14 points, draining four treys for Team Black, while Wesley Saunders (13 points), Jonah Travis (12) and Steve Moundou-Missi also reached double figures in a winning effort.
Kenyatta Smith (11 points), Siyani Chambers (eight) and Evan Cummins (six) paced Team Crimson in scoring.
Harvard will officially open the season Nov. 9, when the Crimson welcomes MIT to Lavietes Pavilion.
