CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's basketball team will honor its season and Ivy League championship, as the team will hold its annual banquet at the Harvard Club of Boston Friday, April 15.
The reception will begin at 6 p.m., while the banquet's program will start at 7 p.m. Tickets for the celebration, which is open to the public, are $50 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn will serve as the special guest speaker for the Harvard men's basketball banquet.
The Crimson concluded the season 23-7 overall and 12-2 in the Ivy League, marking the most victories and conference wins in a season for the program. Harvard owned a 14-0 home record and won a share of the program's first Ivy League title. Following the regular season, the Crimson earned a berth in the National Invitation Tournament, also a first in school history.
