CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Harvard undergraduate students can pick up their free men's basketball or men's hockey tickets for each weekend's games beginning at 9 a.m. on the Tuesday prior to the games at the Athletic Ticket Office in the Murr Center. Four hundred student tickets will be held for all men's basketball games and three hundred tickets will be held for all men's hockey games for students.
One valid Harvard ID may be presented per person (no photocopies or roommates' IDs will be accepted) and tickets will be distributed while supplies last. For next weekend's men's basketball games againt Columbia and Cornell (Jan. 28-29) and men's hockey games against Colgate and Cornell (Jan. 28-29), tickets will be distributed while supplies last through Friday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. Tickets will become available Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 9 a.m.
The men's basketball game against Columbia and the men's hockey game against Colgate are both set for a 7 p.m. start time on Friday, Jan. 28. The men's basketball contest against Cornell will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, while the men's hockey game against the Big Red will be played at 7 p.m. that evening. All fans are encouraged to wear white to the games against Cornell for the White Out at Bright Hockey Center and Lavietes Pavilion.
If any student tickets remain after that time for any of the four games next weekend or any men's basketball or men's hockey home weekend, students may pick them up at the ticket window at the venue beginning one hour prior to the game. Once all free student tickets have been distributed, students may purchase a ticket at a reduced rate if general public tickets are still available.
This student ticket distribution process will be in effect for all future men's basketball and men's hockey games this season. Each week, tickets for the upcoming weekend will be available for pick-up at the ticket office beginning at 9 a.m. on the Tuesday prior to the games.
Students may pick up a ticket for games on two different nights on the same weekend. For games on the same evening, a student may only pick up a ticket for one game or the other, not both. However, a student may enter the other game by showing their HUID and ticket stub after the first half or first period (based on building capacity).
