Bronwen Evans
College: Boston College 2005

Bronwen (Kelly) Evans, the former head field hockey coach at Milton Academy and a four-time all-region and all-conference midfielder at Boston College, is in her second season as an assistant coach at Harvard in 2009.

Evans coached Milton for two seasons. She was also an assistant athletic director, AP psychology teacher and assistant ice hockey coach. She was a member of the 2000 Canadian National Junior Team and went on to earn selection to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Northeast Region second team in the first three years of her collegiate career. She made the all-region first team in her senior season of 2005.

Evans captained Boston College for two seasons and recorded 73 career points on 24 goals and 25 assists. She ranks fourth in program history in assists and is tied for eighth in career points. She helped the Eagles win the 2003 Big East Conference championship, set a school record for wins (17) in 2004 and advance to three NCAA tournaments.

After sitting out a redshirt year with an injury, Evans started every game of her four-year playing career. She was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team as a senior after three years on the All-Big East teams. She was an All-Big East first-team pick in 2002 and 2004 and a second-team selection in 2003.

A 2005 BC graduate with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Evans earned a master's in developmental and educational psychology from BC in 2006. She garnered numerous academic honors while with the Eagles. She earned the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement in 2002 and 2003, earned NFHCA National Academic Squad honors all four years and was a Big East Academic All-Star in all three of her seasons in that league.

Evans is a native of Mississasauga, Ontario.
