Donna Chung is in her fourth year of her second stint as an assistant with the Harvard field hcokey program in 2009. She is a volunteer coach and works with the team's goalkeepers.

Following the 2008 season, Chung represented the United States at the 2008 Indoor Pan American Cup. She started in goal for the U.S. team, helping the squad post a 5-0 round-robin record and finish with the silver medal.

Chung is no stranger to the Crimson program as she had previously served as an assistant at Harvard from 1990-95. She was head coach at Division II Bentley in 1987 and has also served as an assistant coach at Boston College, Michigan and Princeton.

Chung was a standout player on the collegiate, national and international levels. A 1983 graduate of Iowa, Chung was a two-time All-America goalkeeper with the Hawkeyes and was named to the Big Ten All-Decade Team, spanning the years 1981-91. She was inducted into Iowa's hall of fame in 2004.

Upon graduating from Iowa, Chung was a member of the U.S. national team for five years and was the starting goalkeeper for Team USA in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea. She also was a two-time member of the U.S. World Cup team (1986, 1990), on the U.S. Pan-American Games team (1987) and a participant in the 1989 U.S. Olympic Festival. She was named to the U.S. national indoor team in 2005 and 2006.
