    The Harvard field hockey team has released its schedule for the 2014 season, which features 17 games for the Crimson, nine of which will be at Jordan Field.

    Harvard field hockey coach Tjerk van Herwaarden has announced the addition of five freshman for the 2014 season; Ellie Cookson, Jill Detrick-Yee, Emily Ott, Olivia Startup and Hannah Wellington. The five newcomers will join a group of 17 returning players from last season.

    Harvard field hockey head coach Tjerk van Herwaarden helped Team USA earn a gold medal at the 2014 Champions Challenge last week. Van Herwaarden is serving as an assistant coach this summer with the U.S. National Team.

    Harvard field hockey head coach Tjerk van Herwaarden will be joining Team USA as an assistant coach this spring as the U.S. makes its way to the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014. Van Herwaarden, who was designated interim head coach in January 2013, moved to the assistant position after newly appointed head coach Craig Parnham joined the team early last year.
  • McClintock named Scholar of Distinction; Field Hockey Earns National Academic Awards

    The Harvard field hockey team has been named a recipient of the 2013 Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award, the NFHCA announced this week. Along with the team award, 12 Crimson were named to the National Academic Squad for their efforts off the field, the second most in the Ivy League.
  • Registration Open for Field Hockey Spring and Summer Clinics

    Registration is now open for the Harvard University field hockey Spring and Summer Clinics at Jordan Field. The Spring Skills Clinic is set for April 13 is a two-session skill enhancement clinic, which offers both offensive and defensive drills. The Spring Play Day, which will be held on April 27, features a full day of competition hosted by World Camp USA.

    Harvard field hockey forward Marissa Balleza has been honored as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. This marks the second time this season Balleza brings home League accolades after earning the same recognition on Oct. 29.
