Dickson Selected to All-Northeast Region Squad
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Freshman midfielder Carly Dickson of the
Harvard field hockey team has been named to the Longstreth/National
Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Northeast Region second team,
the NFHCA announced this week.
Dickson led the Crimson from the midfield this season. The
Victoria, B.C., native started all 17 games and registered two
goals and an assist. Her first career goal was the game-winning
penalty stroke, scored with 10 minutes to play in a 1-0 victory
against rival Yale. Dickson also had a goal and an assist in
Harvard's 4-1 win against Vermont.
The all-region honor comes on the heels of Dickson’s
selection to the All-Ivy League first team. Harvard has now had at
last one all-region pick every season since 1984.
